Rules & Regulations
General
- . Students should be neatly dressed. School uniform is to be worn everyday & for all the
school
function. Uniform defaulters will be fined or marked absent for the day. They should
wear their
identity cards everyday.
- Non-Sikh boys should get their cut at regular intervals.
- Students should carry their school diaries to school everyday with their photographs
duty
pasted
& the information complete / duly signed by the parents.
- Irregular attendance at school, habitual disobedience, objectionable moral influence and
intentional discourtesy of disrespect to teachers, are each sufficient cause for
dismissal.
- All should be particularly careful to avoid throwing remains of food papers etc.
Anywhere in
the School premises except in the bins provided the purpose.
- No fines of any kind of collections for any purpose whatsoever or sale maybe made
without the
Principal’s prior permission.
- No cell phones, unwanted books, news papers, or periodicals may be brought to the school
premises without the principal’s permission. Students found with immoral books, pictures
of
CD’S in their possession or seen lending them to others are liable to be expelled from
the
school.
- Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is not allowed.
- When students moving along corridors up and down the stairs, when changing classes, they
walk
in silence and the rules is ‘keep left’.
- Students with health problems during the school hours, can avail the facilities of the
sick room
only with the written permission of either the principal or the class teacher.
- Pupils must attend physical education, games and other activities outside school hours
when
required to do so. Participation on such occasions will be deemed compulsory by the
school
authorities, since games and athletics play an important part in the student’s all-round
development . They will be excused from participation only on a previous written
recommendation of a medical officer.
- Pupils of the K.G. should not depend on the timing of the children of the higher
classes. It is
Advisable to arrange separate vehicles for them. Pupils who expect to return late to
their
Homes are responsible for informing their parents about it in advance.
- Students should depict courteous behaviour whenever they go. They should remember that
The school is judged by their behaviour.
- Pupils are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside
the
School. Hence misbehaviour of any kind in the streets and other public justifies their
Dismissal.
- No late arrival to school may be admitted to class without the principal’s signature on
the
record
Of late arrival in the school walk in silence to their classrooms.
- School starts with an assembly after which the students walk in silence to their
classrooms.
- No pupil may leave the school premises during school hours (recess time included)
without
the
Written permission from the principal.
- The school is not responsible for the loss of books, pens, money etc. Each students is
responsible for his/her belongings. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles like
expensive
watches or fountain pens to school. Books and other property must be marked, as far as
possible, with the owner’s name.
- No meetings, demonstration, party or picnic may be held by the students without the
previous
Permission of the principal.
- The school in not responsible for any unlocked vehicles or cycles.
Absence
Leave of absences is not granted except for serious reasons and
only on a previously written application by the parent /
guardian. As a rule leave for purely social purposes is not
granted.
- Parents should notify in writing any absence from school owing
to illness or otherwise of their ward. A medical certificate must
be produced if a student is absent for more than a week on
medical ground.
- Parent / guardian who for a good reason would like to take their
children home during school hours must come themselves, or
submit a letter signed by them to the school office.
- A student will be allowed to go home only escorted by a family
member during school hours.
- During school hours parents / guardians are not allowed to see
their children or interview teachers or visit the classroom or
walk about in the school premises etc. They need permission
from the principal to do so.
- On return to school the absentee must produce his/her parent
written explanation for his/her absence. This note will be given
to the class teacher to be kept in the file for record. Failure to
produce explanation may result in the student being sent home.
- Students availing more than one week’s leave of absence must
get leave note signed first by the principal.
Fee Rules
- a] -All fees of the academic year must be paid in four instalments
which are as follows.
First instalment
:
up to 10 th April
Second instalment
:
up to 10th July
Third instalment
:
up to 10th October
Fourth instalment
:
up to 15 January
Fees collection hours
:
8:30am to 3:00pm on all
working days except Saturday 8:30am to 12:00 noon
Late fee fine Rs.5/-Per Day.
Conveyance, which is an extra facility provided by the school,
will be charged separately.
b]-Fees is to be paid in cash or through cheque in favour of Delhi
Public Academy, Gwalior.
- The fee can be paid in lump sum for the whole session by
availing a discount of 10% on tuition fees provided. It has to be paid in
single instalment before 10th April.
- No reduction of fees is made on account of holidays or
temporary absence.
- In case, two or more children come from the same family,
remittance in fees will be considered.
- Fees will be subject to changes as and when the need arises.
- Fee of any kind is not refundable. Only caution money is
refundable. No request on this matter will be entertained.

Gray cap (Leggies are not allowed (No skirt in winter)
NUR. To UKG UNIFORM
BOYS: Peach colour shirt (Half Sleeves) and peach check trouser
With blue DPA socks (all days) & black school shoes.
GIRLS: Peach Half sleeves shirt + check skirt + Navy blue DPA
Written socks with black school shoes, Black hair band.
WINTER UNIFORM
Same for Boy & Girls Navy Blue & Red colour Track Suit
All for 5 days with Gray Cap.
